On arrival in Perth you are met and transferred to your hotel, enjoying an orientation tour of the city en route. You will visit such places as Kings Park, where you are able to see spectacular panoramic views of the city and the Swan River. What remains of the day is at your leisure. |

DAY 2: |
SWAN VALLEY / FREEMANTLE |

This morning you spend the day exploring the Swan Valley wineries and visiting the famous port community of Fremantle. The Swan Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine growing region and is where you will experience a colourful blend of heritage and culture, people, art, world-class wine, gourmet goodies and fresh produce. The Swan Valley has a number of award-winning wineries, many of which are family owned and run. Swan Valley is also well known for its Belgian white beer and German red beer. These are just two of the over 20 locally-made brews on offer in the region. Fremantle was established in 1829 as a port for the fledgling Swan River Colony and was the major city in Western Australia for much of its early history. It was the first port of call in Australia for many migrants and visitors and today Fremantle sustains a rich mixture of cultures and nationalities and is the major commercial port of the State. One of the main attractions in Fremantle is the Western Australian Museum – Maritime which has exhibitions on shipwrecks discovered off the Western Australian coast and Western Australia's Maritime endeavours. |

Today you are driven to Margaret River via Mandurah and Bunbury, with stops at various places of interest en route. The afternoon is at your leisure. |

Explore the wineries, culinary delights, artisan galleries and the picturesque scenery of the Margaret River region. Your tailormade touring itinerary showcases the incredible natural beauty and diversity of the region. You will have the opportunity to meet with and have back-of-house access to the winemakers or owners from internationally renowned estates and experience the cellar personally with invited private barrel tastings and tours of the vineyard or winery. Private tastings have also been arranged at several wineries. |

MARGARET RIVER / PERTH |

|
You are met and return to Perth by private vehicle. On arrival in Perth you are transferred to the airport to connect with our outbound flight.
